"Coritaan"

This oil portrait was created as a gift for some dear friends and depicts one of their wonderful horses, Coritaan. Cori likes to poke his head outside his stall door, and I love the light hitting his striking features. He is an intelligent, inquisitive, and handsome Dutch warmblood gelding. I enjoyed rendering his characteristic “Cori” expression with slightly drooped lip!
